Beyond the CV:
I grew up between Yangon, Negombo, and Chennai, and having no single home became its own form of literacy: I learned to adapt quickly, be open, listen first, lead with empathy, and welcome differences.
I earned a scholarship to Middlebury College in Vermont, where I learned to hold my own in spaces that didn’t always feel built for me. I’ve had to work hard for my seat at the table. So as a leader, I intentionally make space for the people who get overlooked. I amplify their voices, and build environments where everyone feels like they belong.
My earliest creative influence was my uncle, an artist. I remember the sense of wonder I felt at his ability to make the world around us come alive with his stories. I’ve been chasing that magic ever since, professionally and in life.
Today I’m based in Singapore – after years of being a bit of a nomad, I’ve found home. My personal mission is to contribute towards building a more equitable world. I volunteer with HerRiseAbove, helping women from low-income households build skills and launch their own businesses.
